Microsoft requires TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and an 8th-generation or newer processor for official Windows 11 upgrades. If your older desktop or laptop runs Windows 10 smoothly, you can still enjoy Windows 11 using the Rufus utility.
How to Create a Bypass USB using Rufus
- Download the official Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft.
- Download the free tool Rufus.
- Plug in your USB drive (at least 8 GB) and launch Rufus.
- Select your Windows 11 ISO file.
- Click Start. A popup menu titled "Windows User Experience" will appear.
- Check the box: "Remove requirement for 4GB+ RAM, Secure Boot and TPM 2.0".
- Click OK and wait for the flash drive to finish creation.
You can now boot from this USB drive and install Windows 11 on any PC without any compatibility warnings!
